White bow tie in silk piqué, Le Plongeant

For this white bow tie, we chose an exceptional pure silk piqué, with its finely textured weave, remarkable in quality and very pleasant to the touch. It gives the piece an elegant, understated look, suits every outfit and every occasion, and brings out your style with subtlety. Le Plongeant is our pointed-end shape, 2.6 in (6.5 cm) high.

How to put on your bow tie?

This bow tie is pre-tied: slip it under the collar of your shirt, adjust it easily to your size, then check that the bow sits centered.

The bow is shaped by our seamstresses to a very precise specification. We wanted the dimple, la goutte as we call it, to show on each side, so that the bow gains volume, presence and elegance, for an impeccable result.

You get an accessory that is perfectly shaped, elegant and ready to wear with style on any occasion.

How to wear your bow tie?

Several collar types work with a bow tie. The first is the wing collar, the most formal, usually worn with a tuxedo. Since it has no fold, it leaves the band of the bow tie visible.

This is why we chose a notched fastening: an outer band of silk elegantly hides the inner notches. No visible plastic clasp, often unsightly, and a perfect line.

For other occasions, prefer a classic collar with a moderate spread, and choose a fairly low collar stand, between 1 and 1.2 in (2.5 to 3 cm), for a balanced, harmonious look.

How to pair your white bow tie?

White silk piqué is the cloth of white tie: this bow tie is made to be worn with a tailcoat and a piqué shirt front, and it is just as right with a tuxedo for a wedding or a gala. Le Plongeant, with its pointed ends, gives it a modern line, and the textured weave catches the light with subtlety.
